what's not to love about the comic stamps? this is called architectural lettering. i can't remember if i have posted it before. if not, it would be a fun one to post a whole exemplar. if time permits, i'll do that today. basically, it is just block lettering with a bit of a slant to it.
just noticed that the envelope is tilted. i do not know why the scanner tilts the images sometimes. it is easy to place an envelope into the scanner in the corner...but then, the image comes out cropped and crooked. very mysterious...anyone know what's going on with non-compliance in scanning?
